I hope you all had amazing Easter break with family and friends!
Today, I want to share with you my pamper day routine, which is a day I spend on relaxing and doing different types of beauty related things such as face treatments that I don’t really have time for during busy week, proper treatments for my hair, pedicure etc…
I think every woman, no matter how busy, should find a spot in their busy agenda to have a moment for herself – not necessarily the whole day but couple of hours in a week when you can forget about your busy schedule and deadlines.
Pamper days are also great options when you are spending time with your girlfriends . I remember I used to stay over at my friends’ places a lot when I was 18-20 and we often had pamper evenings – it was so much fun![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
I always start my pamper day by listening to music, having light breakfast and visiting other blogs. When it comes to music, I always go for Spotify as there are many amazing playlists for every mood and I always use bluetooth speakers, such as this Panasonic Wireless Speakers, as not only they deliver amazing sound quality but you can move them from one room to another without having to deal with ’10 cables’ around it. You can have a look at these speakers on Amazon here (click).
After I finish my coffee and browsing other blogs, I take a bath and sometimes or most of the times I shall say, I take the speakers with me. During my pamper day, I always use some Lush Bath Products as they not only have an amazing smell but also moisturise the skin very well.
I also apply mask on my hair and I usually sit with the products on my hair for 20minutes in total, which is the main reason why I take my music with me to the bathroom. Haha![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After a long bath, I usually do my nails and pedicure because after such a long time spent in a bath, the skin is very soft so it is easier and quicker to push cuticles back or cut them. It is also easier to remove any dead skin from our feet.
During my pamper day, I also take care of my face – depending on the needs, I would apply moisturising mask or use one of my facial devices – I will be reviewing two of my favourites very soon so stay tuned for that![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Another thing I also do during my pamper day are my brows. I found out it is easier for me to maintain nice shape if I do my brows on a weekly basis rather than wait until they grow a lot as I tend to over-pluck them if there is a lot to do.
Some weeks, when my schedule is very busy, I spend couple of hours on pampering, relaxing, doing beauty-related stuff as well as things I enjoy but I try to have ‘a day for myself’ from time to time when I can forget about my busy schedule, deadlines etc. for the whole day and just relax. I think it’s good from time to time to step back from our daily routines and ‘breathe’…
In my opinion, it is important to take these type of breaks even if you love your job/daily routine. Personally, these type of days give me energy and power to have a productive week ahead.
As I said, for me, these type of days are great to spend with friends who also enjoy doing beauty-related things – face or hair treatments, nails etc. If spent with friends, I’m sure we would also watch some great movie, have snacks or maybe head to the cinema..
Readers, let me know if you also try to have a day for yourself in your busy schedule?
Do you have ‘your pamper day’ at all or do you rather do beauty-related things such as brows, nails etc whenever there is a time?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
